This Privacy Policy explains how VirtueNest (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the VirtueNest website and the VirtueNest GPT Feed Shopify app (together, the “Service”).

• Merchant & store data. When you install the app, we access store and product data through Shopify’s APIs as needed to build and maintain your AI-readable feed.
• Contact details. When you book a demo, subscribe to our newsletter, or request an audit report, we collect the name, email, and store URL you provide.
• Audit inputs. When you run the AI Shopping Audit, we fetch publicly available pages from the store URL you submit.
• Usage data. We use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) to understand how the website is used.

How we use information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• To generate audit results and email you the report you request.
• To respond to demo requests and support enquiries.
• To send product updates and marketing email you opt into.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Service — for example, our email provider (Brevo), our database host (MongoDB Atlas), and analytics providers — and only as needed to deliver the Service.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. Audit results are cached for up to 7 days. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message.
